Shirley Adubofour holds a Master’s in International Education Policy Analysis from Stanford University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Race & Ethnic Studies from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

As an educator with experience in curriculum design and driving student engagement, Shirley has worked to create inclusive, dynamic learning environments that foster academic success. Her research was published in the American Journal of Higher Education, titled “The Color of Leadership: Race and Power Dynamics Examined Through Lived Experiences of Black Executive Academic Leaders”. She has honed her ability to analyze, create, and implement policies that drive equity and access in education in the U.S and internationally.

In addition, Shirley is the founder of Crown and Glory Hairstyling, where she merges her passion for education with her creative skills in hairstyling. Whether advocating for equity in education or helping individuals feel empowered, Shirley is committed to creating lasting, transformative change.
