Women of the House of Refuge community

Every woman, regardless of her history, deserves a place to heal.

What the House Provides

Four pillars of recovery, under one roof.

Every element of House of Refuge is designed around a simple truth: real recovery needs safety, structure, community, and a path forward. Here is how we build it.

01

Safe Residential Housing

A structured Delaware home operating under ASAM Level 3.1 care. Women live with dignity while they heal, in a calm environment with 24/7 on-site supervision.

02

Trauma-Informed Recovery

Ten hours of therapeutic services each week, delivered through evidence-based, trauma-informed care. Individualized treatment plans meet each woman where she is.

03

Peer and Community Care

Mentorship from alumni and daily peer support that builds sisterhood alongside sobriety. No woman walks this path alone.

04

Pathway to Independence

Skills training, relapse prevention, and transitional housing links. Every stage of the program builds toward stable, independent living.
