Welcome to House of Refuge

You Are More Than the Hardest Chapter of Your Story.

  • Maybe substance use has affected your relationships.
  • Maybe you have lost a job, housing, trust, or opportunities.
  • Maybe you have gone through treatment before.
  • Maybe people who love you are tired, and you are tired too.
Or maybe you are simply realizing:

I can't keep living like this.

House of Refuge was created for this moment.

You don't have to have everything figured out before asking for help. You simply need somewhere to begin.

What is House of Refuge?

Residential Treatment Designed for Women.

House of Refuge is a Delaware-licensed ASAM Level 3.1 residential treatment program operated by Women of Value Inc.

We provide adult women experiencing substance use disorders with a structured residential environment where they can participate in treatment while beginning to rebuild important areas of their lives.

Treatment matters.

But so does what happens after treatment.

That is why our approach extends beyond symptoms to address the practical barriers that can make long-term stability difficult.

Beyond Treatment

We are preparing you for what comes next.

Treatment shouldn't happen in a vacuum. Eventually, you may need to think about:

Where will I live?

How will I get to appointments?

Can I return to work?

What relationships are healthy for me?

What happens when I feel overwhelmed?

Who will support me after discharge?

A Home-Like Treatment Environment

Treatment can be structured without feeling institutional.

House of Refuge was intentionally designed to provide women with a welcoming, home-like residential environment while participating in structured treatment.

Come as you are. We will help you work toward where you are going.
