Empowerment Meets Intervention
Who We Are

A woman's circumstances should not determine the value or potential of her life.

The central belief that shapes everything we do

Women of Value Inc. is a nonprofit organization created with one central belief. We help women recognize their strengths, address barriers, develop practical skills, strengthen their emotional well-being, and pursue lives of purpose and stability.

Over the years, Women of Value has served women through mentorship, leadership development, workforce initiatives, conferences, retreats, emotional wellness programming, community outreach, and other supportive services.

As the needs of the women we encountered became more complex, our organization evolved. That evolution led to the creation of House of Refuge, expanding our work into structured residential substance use disorder treatment.

Today, Women of Value represents both empowerment and intervention, supporting women at different stages of their lives.

Our Mission

To uplift, enlighten, and empower women to rise above life's challenges and embrace their divine purpose.

Our Vision

A future where women are educated, equipped, supported, and empowered to fulfill their purpose and make meaningful contributions to their families and communities.

Our Approach

We believe in the whole woman.

A woman's challenges rarely exist in isolation. Our work considers the whole woman and the environment surrounding her.

Substance use can affect housing.

Housing instability can affect employment.

Trauma can affect relationships.

Financial instability can affect families.

Mental and emotional challenges can affect a woman's ability to pursue opportunities.

Our Story

From community to continuum of care.

How a community of women committed to growth grew into a nonprofit that meets women wherever they are.

01

A Community of Women

Women of Value began as a community of women committed to personal growth, mentorship, faith, leadership, and empowerment.

02

Workshops, Conferences, Retreats

Through years of workshops, conferences, retreats, mentorship, and community engagement, we began encountering women whose circumstances required more than occasional programming.

03

Recognizing the Deeper Need

Some needed structured behavioral health services. Some were navigating substance use disorders. Some needed assistance transitioning from treatment into employment, housing, and community stability.

04

Expanding the Continuum

Women of Value responded by expanding its continuum of support, moving from occasional programming to sustained, structured care.
